    Abstract

    Plumbum (Pb) is akind of heavy metal that will cause serious negative implication at our health and eated. There are some plantation which have pollutant absorbtion ability and reducer air pollution produced by factories and transportations. The aim of the reesrch is evaluating the effectiveness plant of Tanjung (Mimusop Elengi.) and Mahoni (Swietenia Mahagoni ) trend absorbing Pb in the air. The result of this research are : total absorbtion in Tanjung leave (at morning) within a month are 19.44%, at noon 27.25%, at afternoon 44.22%. In Mahoni leaves (at morning) 27.62%, at noon 34.54%, at afternoon 45.97%. In Tanjung’s stem (at morning) 17.74%, at noon 42.03%, at afternoon 44.05%. In Mahoni’s stem (at morning) 15.69%, at noon 29.16%, at afternoon 37.12%. Depends on total absorbtion percentation plant of Tanjung at the afternoon get biggest 88.25%.
