    Abstract

    Noise is something that cannot be separated from human life as unwanted sound. The purpose of this research is for measuring the quality and noise level caused by shooting noise from assault riffle SS-1, M-16, Howitzer 105 mm artillery, and KPR BM 14/170 mm rockets launchers blast and evaluation noise impact to artillery 1 Marinir Karang Pilang-Surabaya The research result, is known that the equivalent noise level (Leq)from SS-1, M-16, Howitzer 105 mm artillery, and KPR BM 14/170 mm rockets launchers blast noise reaches from 122 up to 142 dB range. From the statistics test result known for SS-1 and M-16, the Leq is affected by the measurement of the time exposure : 86.35% & 87.31%. Howitzer 105 mm and KPR BM 14/170 mm Leq KeyWords : Noise level, sound , human is affected by the measurement distance from the noise source : 98.95% & 94.6
