    Abstract

    Corelation compressive strength and tensile strength is not linear proportional, every compressive strength improvement is followed by 9 % - 15 % tensile strength improvement. The exactly magnitude is difficult to measure ( Tri M, 2004 ). In this research used addition of fiber polypropylene longly 12 mm is 0 ; 0.3 ; 0.6 ; and 0.9 kg/m3 The result indicate that addition of polypropylene fiber effective on 0.9 kg/m. Water cement ratio is 0.55 and 0.35, mix design concrete use the method ACI. is use the speciment cylinder 15 X 30 cm, the are tested at 28, 56 and 90 day. 3 Keywords : polypropylene fiber, tensile strength concrete, water cement ratio . The tensile strength of normal strenght concrete improve is 3.17 % from control concrete without fiber and hight performent concrete improve is 5.76 % from control concrete without fiber.
