      Abstract

      In the current age of globalization companies give special attention to efficiency, effectiveness, and productivity. This can be met if the company make arrangements to schedule completion of the request with the best. One of the factors that influence for orders to be resolved is the labor that is directly involved in the production process. PT. X is a company engaged in the manufacture of cups with the main raw material is plastic ore requires enhancing the quality of work and workload adjustments for employees who had a balance workloads. In line thermoformingcup contained a number of employees 10 people. Observations at a glance shows that the workload at each work station has not been evenly distributed, it is characterized by employees who are unemployed while another employee was working on tasks and information from the Production Manager who stated the need for the calculation of the workload to ensure certainty about the workload of employees. Work Load Analysis (WLA) Method is a descriptive of the workload required in a unit of the company. This method will provide information on the allocation of staff resources to complete the workload. With Work Load Analysis method is expected to increase work efficiency of employees at large so that it can meet consumer desires, and ultimately corporate objectives will be achieved. Based on the results of workload measurement in PT. X by using Work Load Analysis (WLA) can be concluded that the workload of employees in the Visual 97.40 with the optimal number of employees is 5 people, at the Packer 92.75 with the optimal number of employees is 2 people, at the Operator 74.95 with the optimal number of employees is 2.
