      Abstract

      Increasing levels of competition in the industry, requires companies to be able to face the competition is good and ready with all the risks to be faced. One of the guarantees that must be met to the customer company is shipping products according to customer requests in a timely and efficient manner. So the distribution process carried out does not result in wasteful in terms of time, distance,andenergy. PG Baru Sidoarjo Sidoarjo area and engaged in sugar production. PG New Candi Baru Sidoarjo has a problem in the distribution of sugar, which in a one-time product delivery is only done on a single distributor, resulting in the delivery path taken longer and longer without first considering the capacity of the vehicle and the distance that will be pursued and lead to an expensive transportation costs. Distribution activities can be run more effectively and efficiently, if the company planned scheduling and sequences in the transport route. Scheduling and determination of transportation routes can be solved by the method Savings Matrix. From the data processing and discussion of problems of distribution channels using Matrix Savings gained four new routes including Route A, Route B, Route C, Route D. Distance cost savings and efficiency derived from 7 routes into 4 route and saving a total mileage of 240.01 miles, or 29.3 of Transport Cost Savings And Rp. 15,750,135 or Transportation Cost savings amounted to 37.9,
