    This study is aimed at describing and analyzing the typology and determinants of organizational commitment among employees of the Foundation of Islamic Boarding School of Nazhatut Thullab. The findings reveal that there are three dimensions of organizational commitment attached with the employees of the organization. They are 1) affective commitment; 2) affective-normative commitment; and 3) affective-continuance commitment. Also, it is found some determinants of the dimensions of organizational commitment, such as 1) compensations factor; 2) barokah value; 3) relational factor; and 4) training and development opportunity factor. Concerning with the above determinants of organizational commitment, the affective commitment has a “multiple determinants” such as compensation, barokah value, relational factor, and training and development opportunity; the normative commitment has a “double determinants” such as barokah value and training and development opportunity; and the continuance commitment has a “single determinant” such as compensation.
