    Abstract

    Reaction Kinetics of Calcium Carbonate Preparation from Fertilizer (ZA) waste by Soda Process was investigater in this research. The preparation process utilize chalk solid waste from PT Petrochemical Industry Gresik . Ca(OH)2 formed reacted with soda ash to be Calcium carbonate. Where in this research studies Calcium hydroxide mole influence with soda ash, temperature, operated and operating time to Calcium carbonate conversion formed. In this research also is set the pace reaction and energy activation. From research gotten, to determine order reaction and the price of k is applied [by] integral method, where [by] graph plot between ln(1 - XA) vs t yields straight line, so that provable that the reaction follows reaction of order one illusions. Level of energy activation and factor hammering got, that is E= 2841,6087 cal/mol and k0 = 0,0252 menit-1 , by way of plot between 1/T vs - lnk and got [by] straight line. So that inferential that mole comparison, temperature operated and operating time can determine velocity constant reaction and energy activation at reaction of forming of Calcium carbonate from Calcium hydroxide with soda ash.
