    This research aims to reduce levels of COD and BOD of wastewater Leachote (Leachatea) Garbage City with the process of coagulation using aluminum sulfate coagulant. The mechanism of coagulation is to neutralize the electrical charge on the swface of colloid by adding a number of chemicals in the form of positively charged coagulant, forming and joining to form makrojlok mikroflok which then settles. The purpose of this study was to determine the crtent to which the percentage reduction in BOD and COD in wasiewater treatment Leachate (Lepchatea) using aluminum sulfate coagulant. Sewage Municipal Solid Waste Leachate volume introduced into 500ml glass beaker, then added with a coagulant with the concentration according to the conditions that nm 10, 20, 30, 40, 50 (g / It), then performed the stirring with the stirring time 15,20,25, 30, 35 (minutes), then observed the pH of the solution. Then left in place until the floc settles, and then recorded the time deposition. After the precipitate, filtrate and floknya separated Furthermore, fluknya discarded and the filtrate analyzed its COD and BOD. Results analysis, the percentage reduction of COD and BOD are relatively contained in the coagulant aluminum sulfate of 30 g / It with stirring time 25 minutes, with the percentage decrease in COD: 79.62% and BOD: 78.73%.
