    Abstract

    Oyster mushroom (Pleurotus ostreatus) can be cultivated in an artificial medium term is the LOG of artificial media from wood that has been rotting and stored or wrapped in plastic and has disetrilkan to place the mushrooms grow. The use of sawdust as an artificial medium for the cultivation of oyster mushrooms is a problem for farmers who wish to pursue oyster mushrooms, but regions where he lived no or few producers in the sawdust. Is therefore necessary to substitute the study of materials that can replace sawdust as the main ingredient of artificial media for the cultivation of oyster mushrooms (Pleurotus ostreatus)Treatment research is to test the 4 kinds of materials litter (as a substitute material sawdust) that is material Thithonia green (T), green material Leucaena leucocephala (L), dry hay (J) and yard waste (S). Each material litter composted for 10 days (T1), 15 days (T2) and 20 days (T3) Observation method was used identification method for observation qualitatively baglog quality thin and thick oyster mushroom (Pleurotus ostreatus) mycelium growth. Quantitative identificati on methods performed on the element content analysis on each litter compost materials as wood substitute materials and also on the percentage growth of oyster mushroom (Pleurotus ostreatus) mycelium. Parameters were identified for qualitative baglog: baglog condition, density and perfection of form baglog. Identify qualitative element to the content in the compost litters: the pH, organic C, N total, C / N ratio, organic materials, Pospor element, the element potassium, water content, lignin and cellulose. Observations include thick mycelium growth of thin mycelium and mycelium growth percentage each week. Materials litter from Thihtonia greenery, greenery Lamtoro, dry straw and yard waste can be used as raw material to grow the media making the white oyster mushroom (Baglog). Content of elements in compost compared litters element content in the sawdust (as control) was litter Tithonia compost content Lignin and cellulose content is low, litter Lamtoro content pospor and low cellulose, litter Straw content high organic C and C/N ratio is low and yard waste Organic material content Lignin and Pospor low. Baglog formed, qualitatively, yet provides a solid form such perfect baglog derived from sawdust (control). Baglog from the compost tends to be less dense, less regular shape and soft. Mycelium can grow to form body fruit grow (basidium) in the media (baglog) which from litters compost material. Mycelium growth began to appear 2 weeks after inoculation and was beginning to look torso starting age of 5 weeks after inoculation Keywords : litter, Baglog, Mycelium and Primordia
