      Abstract

      This examination background has a self image representative on daily life that visualized by media advertise. On this advertisement there is a positivity personal representation build by someone to manipulated condition. The purpose of examination is to understand personality representative on L.A Lights “Drama” version on television advertisement. To be more efficient, this examination using non-verbal communication theory, interpersonal communication, and John Fiske’s semiotics model that depend on three level : reality level, representation level, and ideology level. By using descriptive-qualitative with semiotic analysis as the examination methods so this can be useful to interpretation personality description on L.A Lights advertisement. Based on the examination results, L.A Lights “Drama” advertisement is full of self image representative. This self image representative can be visualized by applying mask and also model’s expressions that shows the real condition.
