Abstract
Goals to be achieved in this research is to know the meaning of caricature in the newspaper Java Post on edition 11th February 2012. Theory those are utilized for example is social criticism, semiotic theory, the semiotic of Charles Sanders Peirce. In this research writer utilizes qualitative descriptive method by uses semiotic approaching. With subject research is Clekit caricature edition 11th February 2012. Corpus on observational qualitative is Clekit caricature “clutter mud” on Java Post edition 11th February 2012. Conclusion that got in caricature presidential nominee and vice president that proposed by policies party or policies party federation must it clear of problems whatever, doesn't evoke controversy that cause ugly president image.
