      Abstract

      Currently, some companies give special attention to efficiency, effectiveness and productivity. This can be met if companies make arrangements to schedule completion of the demand with the best. One of the factors that effect for orders can be completed or fulfilled in accordance with the schedule is time factor, the worker or workers directly involved in the production process. As a company engaged in the steel plate industry one of the factors that effect the workload provided by the company. For that the company should consider the workload that will be provided by the employee in order to achieve optimal productivity. To solve the problem of workload measurement in PT. Gunawan Dianjaya Steel, so this research using Work Load Analysis (WLA). This method will provide information on the allocation of human resources employees to complete the existing workload. Based on the result of workload measurement in CV. Moga Jaya Abadi by using method Work Load Analysis (WLA) can be conclude that the workload of the section destruction, had an average workload of 110.05% % with an optimal number of employees was 2 people, in the sieving, had an average workload 103.7% with an optimal number of employees was 2 people, in mixing, had an average workload of 108.6% with an optimal number of employees was 2 people, in the printing, had an average workload of 102% with the optimal number of employees is 4 people, on the drying had an average workload of 96.97% with an optimal number of employees is 6 people, in the soaking , had an average workload of 106.94% with an optimal number of employees is 7 people, in the arrangement had an average workload of 100.38% with an optimal number of employees is 5 people, in the painting, had an average workload of 98.84% with the optimal number of employees is 4.
