      Abstract

      This research was provided a basis for by the phenomenon even more of them of the number of broadcast stations in Indonesia that presented so many of his devout agenda programs in the territory in Yogyakarta. Together with spread him agenda programs in television gave many choices to the viewer to determine the Behaviour of the community in choosing what agenda that was followed. The brightness of programs was just caused by the competition between the television station. As for television program programs covered; the news program, the sport program, Infotaiment, Talk Show, Musik, Sinetron, Film, Cartoon, Quiz, Reality Show, and the comedy (Morissan,2008: 215). With the agenda that variatif certainly caused a difference in the matter to choose the agenda. The requirement for each viewer the TV would the information was different was based on the factor that influenced that is the age, gender, the rate of return, the work, and the level of education. With the existence of the difference of the level of certain education the trend that happened in determining the Behaviour of the media's election, differed between the individual that one and that was other, that in part was affected by the number of choices of the kind and the contents of the media that was offered. The theory Stimulus-Organism-Response was used, television was the mass media most was suitable to cover the community's heterogeneity. The presentation of the agenda program ditelevisi gave the stimulus that afterwards would it was responded by someone through organism that took the form of attention, the understanding and acceptance that afterwards will affect someone to choose the agenda program that would in tonton him. And the Theory of the Audiens Composition that have a view that the demographic characteristics influenced the availability of spare time and the choice of the contents media. The research Method that was used was the research korelasional quantitative. This research population was the community of D.I Yogyakarta that including in the figure of school participation. The technique sampling in this research used the technique probability sampling (random sampling) with the method sampling random stratified proportional. The analysis method of the Contigency C Correlation (Pearsons C) was used counted relations between the variable that his data was nominal nominally or nominally in an ordinal manner. This formula was a measurement of the level of relations, the association or the dependency from classification of classification in the table kotigensi r x k. This technique was connected with the Chi Kuadrat formula to know strong not him relations between this variable. Was based on the analysis of results survey that was carried out by the researcher concerning relations between the level of education and the Behaviour of the community in choosing the television program program was gotten by significant relations strong and high.
