      Abstract

      Maintenance activities in manufacturing industry is aiming to improve the effectiveness of existing machinery and equipment as optimally as possible by taking care of existing machinery and equipment from damage to machinery and equipment is always in the best condition. PT.PETRONIKA is a company chosen as the object of study is a manufacturing company that produces chemicals Diocthyl types Phthalate (DOP). Where the problem occurred on his maintenance activities that have been applied to the machine Centrifugal Pump. Age Replacement and Minimize Downtime is the development of preventive maintenance, is a method that can be applied to determine the preventive replacement intervals and inspection of the machine and its critical components. By using these methods, a company can schedule routine maintenance to the machine by calculating and processing the data available historical damage. Based on the results of data processing and analysis has been done on the scenario get treatment every 60 hours with increased reliability value of 47.2% for coupling components, an increase of 59.17% formechanical seal components, an increase of 51.13% for oil seal components and an increase of 50.92% for bearing components with a total downtime of 12 hours.
