Abstract

The kretek museum is a icon of Kudus Center Java. It was built with a purpose as: storing places of kretek historical evidence development, preserving the kudus cultures, means of education and entertainment. But gradually this existence was started to loss, so the tourist has been uninterested for visit. This problem gives a negative impact for the museum, therefor was needed evaluation measure. This result is conclude, main factor that makes loss of existence museum in the eyes of tourist is no graphical environment that identifies identity and any medium to be tour guide in museum. The graphical environment is meant is sign system. Sign system will be desiged with the concept of Harmony, this concept was inspired from the needs of tourist and identity the Museum of Kudus Kretek too. So the attraction of museum back in increased and the tourist will come back visiting with the different shades
