Abstract
A manager in retailer business needed to uinderstand the attitude and behavior of his employees that improved the work spirit, passion and performance in order to give positive impact to the company. Manager was expected to cooperate well with the employees so they did not feel stress and depressed in doing their jo. Someone who had high organizational commitment was followed with Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) which was somebody's will to do his activity without expecting real reward. This study was to analyse the effect of leadership, work demand, stagnant career to work stress. the influence of work stress to organizational commitment, and the influence of organizational commitment to employees'OCB. The sample of this study was 100 PT.Alfa R's employee. The analysis technique was using SEM (Structural Equation Modelling). Based on the result using AMOS 4.01, the leadership factor had a positive and significant influence to fob stress factor, the factor of fob demand had a positive and significant influence to job stress factor, the factor of career stagnation had a positive and significant influence to job stress factor, the factor of job stress had a positive and significant influence to organizational commitment factor. While the factor of organizational comeniintent had a positive and significant influence to OCB factor
