    Abstract

    Plastic Mediated Anaerobic Biofilter (bioball) is a biologically waste water treatment processing by using filter media. The media is aimed at the embedding place of microorganism in order that it can bring out the proliferation procesS. This research used anaerobic system with the variations used were depo sit times (t d ), namely (1, 2, 3, 4, 5) days and recirculation ratios (40, 60, 80, 100%). Parameters to analyze were COD and BOD. From the research results there were obtained the optimum results for the efficiency of COD isolation as large as 90.29% and th e BOD isolation efficiency as large as 92.93%. at 5 th days deposit time with recirculation ratio of 100%.
