    Abstract

    An accommodative performance appraisal strategy is needed to evaluate the performance of Civil Servants. Performance appraisal system of Central and Regional civil servants based on the List of Employee Implementation Assessment has been ineffective. In its implementation, performance appraisal through Employee Implementation Appraisal List does not yet reflect as a tool to measure the success of employee performance, since the evaluation method used has not fully accommodated the applicable provisions. This article attempts to discuss some of the malpractices and biases in the performance appraisal process for local government officials, and provides an alternative method of focusing on the performance appraisal or position of local government officials.
