    Abstract

    Seeds of corn as the main medium nursery of oyster mushrooms can be substituted with other seeds such as Leucaena’s seeds and cotton seeds. Tofu and soy skin can be used as a starter in the culture medium of oyster mushroom seeds. Materials that mentioned above is an agro-industrial waste materials. The problems were tested in the second is how long the shelf life of the seeds and their potential to result in the production of fresh oyster mushrooms. The research aims to get a package of technology in making mains culture media from waste materials and storability of seeds in the culture bottles mains and obtain diversity substitute material for manufacturing of seed oyster mushroom growing medium. The research activity is testing the medium nursery of material substitution as many as nine compositions by two factors. Factor I (3 Level): Media Growing Seed: Corn and Bran, Corn and Soybean leather, cotton Seeds and bran. Factor II: Future Store (3 levels): 0 months, 2 months and 4 months. The result of this study is leuceana seeds and pulp out contamination and dries so it is not recommended. Waste of cotton Seeds and soybean seed coat can be used as a culture medium of oyster mushroom. The time required to become of oyster mushroom body is 4-5 days. Seedlings are derived from of corn + bran media provides frequent harvest more of fresh oyster mushrooms. Average production of fresh oyster mushrooms of various treatments are 1003.89 - 1125.23 gr / baglog / 1 month. The conclusion of this study is the mushroom seed culture results from waste agroculture can last for 4 months with productivity that is not significantly different from control Keywords: agro-industry waste, oyster mushroom nursery, production of fresh oyster mushrooms, shelf life
