      Abstract

Solar power or solar power is one of the largest energy in the living things. Solar power is very important in human life and so can be used one of them is taking the sun's energy as power plants. Therefore, an ideal utilization of the power the sun can raise the idea to harness the power supply voltage siinar generated from the sun. Therefore, one of a series dibuatkanlah that where the circuit is using solar energy as a fired power plants, which are implemented in a prototype circuit traffic light. Microcontroller is one of the technological developments semikonduktor.Teknologi microcontroller integrates components a computer system into a single chip (Single Chip), so This technology is able to function as a computer system. one of functions that can be done by the microcontroller is in the process control. Seeing one of the functions that can be done in the microcontroller control, then the final task was designed and created a system microcontroller-based control on the traffic light settings using the power the sun. Microcontroller is designed to regulate the LED settings, set the time on 7segmen, and control capacity owned by provided by a solar battery cell.
