Abstract
Indonesia is a rich country, has a lot of natural beauty, cultural heritage and ethnic diversity. One of the cultural heritage is tenun ikat. But the community knows more about batik as the representative of the Indonesian culture than tenun ikat. Tenun ikat is a hand-crafted fabric made using traditional tools, commonly called ATBM (alat tenun bukan mesin). Almost all provinces and cities in Indonesia's cultural has this heritage, one of them are from East Java's Kediri. Craft tenun ikat Kediri is hereditary inheritance from their ancestors of the craftsmen. Handicraft tenun ikat Bandar Kidul of Kediri is quiteunpopuler, that it halts the capital turnover and caused a lot of craftsmen to quit from the business. The problems continues,it may lead to the loss of cultural preservation, so it may need to be given a branding, to give value to tenun ikat Kediri and so that the cultural preservation will be saved.
