      Abstract

      Industrial development of increasingly advanced, indirectly spur the owners of the company to continue to expand the existing track. Every company is trying to meet consumer demand in order not to lose customers utama.Proses effective and efficient production is something to be achieved every manufacturing company today. Time becomes very influential in a production (makespan). PT. PAL INDONESIA is a shipbuilding company whose main activities are producing warships, merchant ships, and ship fast (special vessels). Ship - ship production PT. PAL INDONESIA (Persero) has served in the waters around the world. In the process of operational PT. PAL Indonesia has not made optimal production scheduling, this situation is the lack of clarity led to the work done in each lane. The purpose of this study is in the process of operational PT. PAL Indonesia has been no production scheduling in each lane, this situation is the lack of clarity led to the works. Therefore, researchers wanted to help the company in Job shop scheduling with priority dispatching rule heuristic approach, hoping to clarify the process of being made. Based on the results of data processing, the method Heuristic Priority Dispatching Rule Short Processing Time (SPT) at 117.67 makespan obtained by order of the process is the product size 150A - 200A - 100A - 80A - 125A - 65A, while Long Processing Time (LPT) product completion time (makespan) amounted to 117.411 hours of the order process is the size of 65A - 125A - 80A - 100A - 200A - 150A.
