Abstract

This analysis is aimed to :1) To find out the development of soy price inte KOPTI level from 2010-2012. 2) To find out soy demand by owners of tempe factories from 2010-2012. 3) To find out the changes of soy price towards soy demand by the owners of the tempe factories. Data obtained from observations and interviews. To answer both the purpose 1 and 2 , the analysis used is the trend model one. To answer the purpose 3 the analysis used is the correlatin one. Based on the result of the analysis and the material discussion in this research, it can be concluded that 1) the development of “pelangi and non pelangi” soy type price by fluctuating with positive trends per month. 2) The development of rainbow soy type demand by fluctuating tempe factories owners with positive trends per month whilst the development of non rainbow soy by fluctuating tempe factories owners with negative trends per month and the total of soy trend development is negative and tends to be stable. After the first test has been done, it shows the price variable of rainbow soy influences with positive manners towards the demand of rainbow soy by the owners of tempe factories. Moreover the first test also shows the price variable of non rainbow soy influences with negative manners towards the demand of soy by the owner of tempe factories. Whilst the average soy price variable does not influence the total demand of rainbow soy by the owners of tempe factories / industries. Keywoard: The impact of price change towards soy demand
