Abstract
Hot Mud overflowing of Lapindo represent the hot mud blast that happened of drilling activity of earth gas conducted by Lapindo. The target of this research is to know the communications model in negotiation process among BPLS with the Society affected in finishing ingemination Lapindo. The Basis theory at this research used Social Exchange Theory pursuant to belong to the idea that people look into their relation in economic context and they calculate the sacrifice and compare it with the appreciation got by doin on that relation. Beyond at that theory a researcher use the observation method and interview the research location conducted in head office of BPLS and at home area of BPLS and citizen affected by mud Sidoarjo. The results of this research indicate that the communications of taken is social change communications model emit a stream of two phases. In negotiation conducted yield of agreement concerning compensatory process and value. The agreement remains to be based on decision of Director Council.
