Abstract

This research is how about utilization of social media Facebook as society media information. This research aim to find out how the utilization of social media Facebook as a society media information. This research uses descriptive qualitative research which used to provide an detailed explanation and aim to gain an understanding of the problem. For collected data researcher used depth interview and observation methods. Based on research result, show that as a society media information Facebook is an effective social media as media information for society. Group is the main feature used by Komunitas Cosura as media information for society. By utilizied Komunitas Cosura’s Facebook as a media information, The society obtain some benefit. These are The society always get newest event cosplay schedule and increase their knowledge about Japan’s culture and trend. And for Komunitas Cosura, the obtain some benefits too. These are they get a place for introduce to the society about cosplay and as well as their comuunity and they get new member from the member of their Facebook group.
