Abstract
High School Exam 2013 (Content Analysis of Objectivity News About Chaos Implementation of National High School Exam 2013 in the Java Post Period 16 to 19 April 2013. The purpose of this study was to determine the objectivity of news in the newspaper Jawa Pos in the news About Chaos Implementation of National High School Exam 2013 in the Java Post Period 16 to 19 April 2013. Theoretical basis used in this study is Newspaper, Newspapers Characteristics, Definition And Function Press, theory of press freedom, news objectivity. Method used in this study is a quantitative research method, which uses content analysis of Rachma Ida. The population is all the news on the front page of the newspaper Jawa Pos Chaos Implementation of National High School Exam 2013 in the Java Post Period 16 to 19 April 2013. The results of this study are reports in the Java Post on Chaos Implementation of National High School Exam 2013 in the Java Post Period 16 to 19 April 2013 was an objective but not fully, still intended reporter opinion into news content and also lack of accuracy in the inclusion of the event occurrence time. Reporting accuracy newspaper Jawa Pos has met theory of the objectivity of the news because there is a match between the content of the news headlines, there is supporting data amplifier news content such as photos. But still there are often opinion of journalists who entered and lack of inclusion of chronological accuracy. Fairness preaching chaos implementing the National High School Exam 2013 in the Jawa Pos newspaper can be said cover both side and reflect the principle of objectivity in news sources. But the widespread use of the column has not been balanced. The validity of the news is quite objective. This is evident from the data source used is direct contact with the source of the event and there is clarity about each data source.
