Abstract
Television acts as a spur children to learn educational events and can teach children about important values and lessons about real life that can provide knowledge that will indirectly affect the activity of learning . One of the television shows that influence children's motivation to learn is a cartoon movie . Shaun The Sheep is a cartoon story content contained moral messages that are positive for children , which aired on a private television station MNC TV . The study was conducted to determine the effect of the cartoon show Shaun The Sheep onmotivation to learn children in grade IV - VI elementary school in the City of Madiun who has watched it . The method used is the Simple Linear Regression analyzes were included in the quantitative research . Respondents in this study were students of class IV - VI elementary school in the City of Madiun who has watched the show Shaun The Sheep . The results of this study is the influence of the low between Shaun The Sheep cartoon on Student Motivation Class IV - VI elementary school in the City of Madiun.
