      Abstract

      After the emergence of various TV channels, the programs on TV were varied, such as Sinetron, Music, Talk shows and the latest are TV movies or FTV. The study was based on FTV Indahnya Cinta Pertama that were much tells about lifestyle, behavior, and teen clothing models that are the part of teenagers identity, which is directly shown by FTV. The purposes of this study are would like to find out the reception analysis of teenagers about teenagers identity on SCTV Indahnya Cinta Pertama FTV. The researcher was using reception analysis study that is one of standard to measuring media audiences as well as the meaning study of media texts understanding. The researcher used screening question and focus group discussion or FGD. The conclusion of this study are the teenagers identity that shown by Indahnya Cinta Pertama FTV does not correspond to the real life, and that is shown by FTV is excessive and impressed falsehood that may affect the teens reception.
