Abstract

The research was motivated by news about unas delay distribution SMA manuscript that became serious conversation in our country. In this study explained how the media frame the news about the performance of the Education Minister in dealing with this case, as well as the government's policy response to this case, through the assertion or suppression issues. The method used is a qualitative method of analysis framing. The analysis used in this study is the concept Entman models that use four ways of analyzing framing. The four methods used in the analysis of models framing Robert N. Entman, namely: Define Problem, Diagnose Causes, Make Moral Judgment,Treatment Recommendation. This study is the news - the news of the delay distribution of cases the script about unas SMAdi newspaper Jawa Pos and Kompas dated 14 April to 20 April 2013. Results of our analysis can be seen that in Jawa Pos Newspaper distribution of delay look unas manuscript about this as a political issue and technical issues. Jawa Pos also discusses resource experts from education, even the Commission because the case involves a tender lump in the multiplication and distribution of matter unas. Additionally Jawa Pos also review government policy issues in this case as promptly conduct an investigation and the investigation soon revealed that where lies his mistake. Meanwhile, Compass has the view that the delay in distribution of text about this unas as a purely technical issue. It can be seen from news sources are reviewed by taking from education experts, as well as more critical of the performance of the Education Minister Mohammad Nuh.
