Abstract
Queue is an event that usually happen where service need exceed the service capacity provided. Nowadays, simulation becomes something important. Numerous research and study conducted by using simulation method as one of technique for solving problem. One of problem that can be done with simulation is queuing problem. In research conducted in PT. X, Tbk, warehouse area of secondary raw material ice cream, researcher seen bottleneck in delivery process secondary raw material such as wrapper, outter, peanuts,and ice stick in delivery process to production room. So it makes constrained delivery process secondary raw material. Simul8 is one of simulation software in visual view, which mean we could make simulation model only with click and drag simulation object on screen. So we could manage simulation object on screen according to conditions we wanted. With simul8 software, production unit PT. X, Tbk could optimalize the number of optimal line delivery secondary raw material from initial condition. So the production could running optimaly because in material delivery chain, bottleneck problem had been solve. Keywords : secondary raw material, Queue Simulation, Simul 8
