Abstract
During this process of career development which is so heavy that which have to do Tridharma Perguruan Tinggi and support proven many instructor new which to date already work 8 years not have position functional. With the faculty workload is expected to help lecturers to smooth the process of career kedepanya therefore I am trying to write this research is Lecturer Workload effect on faculty career development with 2 independent variables namely Workload Lecturer (BKD) and Standard Performance Lecturer (SKD) . As mandated by the Act No. 14 Year 2005 on Teachers, Lecturers expressed as professional educators with the primary task of transforming, developing and disseminating science, technology through education, research and community service (Chapter 1 Article 1 Paragraph 2. Competence of teachers, especially professors is defined as a set of knowledge, skills and behaviors that must be owned, controlled so that it can be realized by a lecturer in performing their duties. The competencies include personal competence and competencestructured regression diri.metode proper tool using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) The study produced a good model by modifying the results of Goodness of fit: Chi Square = 55 599, df = 45, Cmin / df = 1.235, probability = 0.134, RMSEA = 0.049, GFI = 0.912, AGFI = 0.850, CFI = 0.977, TLI = 0.955. With results Workload Lecturer (BKD) has a direct, positive and significant impact on Performance Assessment Lecturer (PKD) with 0,039. Standard Performance Lecturer (SKD) has direct, positive and significant impact on Performance Assessment Lecturer (PKD) with a value of 0.774, and a Lecturer in Performance Assessment (PKD) has direct, positive and significant for Career Development (OD) with a value of 0.357.
