Abstract

CV. Fajar Teknik Sejahtera is a company located in Jl . Trosobo Pejaya Anugrah and engaged in the processing of rubber . CV . Fajar Teknik Sejahtera produces several different types of processed products such as rubber seals , O - Ring Seal , Shield LPG , Rubber Conveyor Belt , etc. . For each processed rubber products needed raw materials . The raw materials required for the manufacture of paving stone include Butyl Rubber , Silicone , and EPDM . The problem that often occurs CV . Fajar Teknik Sejahtera is in each time ordering raw materials in quantity ordering raw materials up to the time between the arrival of raw material feedstock with one another is not always the same , so it is often the accumulation of excess raw materials . And sometimes there is a shortage of raw materials needed for production at the time that may cause enlargement of booking fees and storage costs of raw materials and can disrupt or even cessation of production activities . Things like this certainly needs to get serious attention and treatment to improve the state to expedite the production company . Silver - Meal Heuristic approach in its calculations are based on a variable period of purchase and is not based on the total demand over the planning stating that the purchase of raw materials is only done at the beginning of the period , the cost savings is only charged on the materials stored for more than one period . While Wagner control method based Algorithm Within the request of some future period that has been predicted before. Purchase of materials is only done at the beginning of the period are only charged the cost savings on materials stored for more than one period . Within Wagner Algorithm starts at the beginning of the period , in which the purchase of raw materials is done only if the supply of raw materials accounted for zero . Based on the results of the study , the cost of procurement of raw materials obtained using the Silver - Meal heuristic , the total cost is Rp . 832 720 000 , - and the total savings is Rp . 40,033,000 , - ( 4:59 % ) . While the cost of procurement of raw material by using Wagner Within Algorithm produces a total cost of Rp . 863 954 000 , - so the savings that can be done is Rp . 8.799 million , - ( 1.01 % ) .
