Abstract

A major problem in the city areas which often become a trending topic of the big city existence is transportations. Transportations are basically need s for the people who lived in the city areas. All entire life aspects such as working activity, studying etc. are mostly supported by this sector. Generally due to dynamic mobility of social community which increasing rapidly so many causes happen that influence descent of available transportation facilities per f ormance. For example: Surabaya C ity with the number of population approximately 3.2 million people has a lot of various activity that connecting in all part of cities. This commuter activity is more dominantly using a private vehicle than using a public t ransportations mode. In absolutely this situation causing traffic congestions which happened on 5 regions of Surabaya City and also making environmental impacts such as air pollutions and noise. For further this studies are carried on to find out a plan of park and ride facility loc ations that supporting intermodal transportations on 5 regions of Surabaya City to reducing traffic congestions and environmental impacts.
