    Abstract

    The banking sector is the main sector in the economy of a country which functions as a collector of funds from the public and distribute the funds to the community in improving the living standard of the people. Time deposits (time deposits) is a place for customers to make investments in the form of securities that will be deposit interest, interest rate given is the highest compared to demand deposits or savings. This analysis was conducted to determine the effect of simultaneous partial and interest rates, inflation rates, population, and the money supply to fund raising deposits at commercial banks in Indonesia from 1993 to 2011. Data were analyzed by quantitative calculation method, based on the theories that have been ada.Analisis multiple linear regression is a method used to analyze the relationship between the independent variables influence the dependent variable. The multiple linear regression analysis using OLS (Ordinary Least Square) with SPSS Version 13 By looking at the results of the calculation method of multiple linear regression that researchers can draw conclusions for the results pengujjian hypothesis states that the interest rate (X1), Inflation Rate (X2), Population (X3), and the money supply (X4) and simultaneously influence singnifikan Simpana positively to growth in deposits funds in commercial banks in Indonesia (Y) proven true because the four variables were able to explain sehinggamodel dependent variable regression techniques were used for analysis in this study matched with a significant level of 5%. Partial results of hypothesis testing to variable interest rates, inflation rates, population and money supply t-test results are obtained that explain the variable interest rate, the number of outstanding common dibank in Indonesia partially positively influences public depositoBank deposits in Indonesia, while the inflation rate and the population has a partial negative effect on savings deposits. This is in accordance with teoriyang explain the contribution to increase the deposit amount in the bank deposits
