      Abstract

      The purpose of this study was to see whether or not an objective reporting about legality Persebaya 1927 in Java media Post with the given period. The operational difinition is one of concept of research variable determinations that can be explained by research variable indicators by categorising news based on related theory. The research method used is a quantitatif analysis, news objectivity tested and analyzed in accordance with the customized categorization theory used by Ida Rachmah on three categorization news objectivity. Results obtained from 15 news that the author carefully. The Java Post already fufills the categorization accuracy of objectivity in the news but Java post fairness category heading is not objective in the news. In terms of the validity of the postal java already meet. Objectivity of news is very important in the presentation of a story. Not an objective presentation of news can cause a lot of imbalance, which means that news is only based on information presented in news sources that are less likely to complete and unilateral.
