Abstract

This research aims to have empirical evidence about the influence of the leadership pattern to the teacher’s performance in increasing qualit y of management based on school (MPMBS) at State of Junior High School 5 Jombang (SMP Negeri 5 Jombang). The respondens in this research are all of the teacher’s at State of Junior High School 5 Jombang (SMP Negeri 5 Jombang). It is used analysis model in the form of regression linear. The hypothesis testing uses T-test with the level of significant 5%. The result of the research shows that there is influence significantly between the leadership pattern and the performance of teacher’s at State of Junior High School 5 Jombang (SMP Negeri 5 Jombang). The conclusion of this research is: (a) The Leadership pattern is most responder, 46 respondent are in high category, 10 respondents are in middle category and 4 respondents are in low category. (b) the teacher’s performance, 48 respondents are categorized high level, 10 respondents are categorized middle level, and 2 respondents are categorized low level. Whereas the result of linear regression statistics show that x variable is 0,452, it means that it shows positive corelation wit h the teacher’s performance. Whereas the value of T shows 29,362 ≥ t table 1,671, it shows that the leadership pattern has significant influence to the teacher’s performance at State of Junior High School 5 Jombang (SMP Negeri 5 Jombang).
