Abstract

This study aims to determine how perceptions of women’s hijab Surabaya against the film “Hijab” by Hanung Bramantyo, which premiered theaters throughout Indonesia since 15January 2015. The metode used in this study is a qualitative method that aims to explain the phenemenon with the heartiest. Research is going on is done with methods such as interviews and more in the documentation as a technique in getting the data. Results perception shown by women hijab Surabaya against the film “hijab” by Hanung Bramantyo assortment, and measured from the perspective of different. The film, titled hijab is not assessed in accordance with the contents therein story, but the film is quite entertaining hijab because of the comedy
