Abstract
EXPOSURE RELATIONSHIP STAGE SHOWS DREAM REALITY SHOW ON PUBLIC WORK MOTIVATION SURABAYA This study was conducted to determine the relationship of exposure dreams reality show stage on work motivation Surabaya society. This study uses the theory of S - O - R and cultivation theory. Goal is to identify and analyze the relationship between exposure to the reality show the dream stage to the motivation of the people working in Surabaya. The research method uses a quantitative approach with correlational analysis is a method to find the relationship between the two variables. And the sampling technique used is random sampling. From the test results that have been done using Spearman rank analysis technique is statistically known that exposure to reality show Dream Stage (X) has a relationship with the community work motivation Surabaya (Y), it is shown on the value of the t test where the value is greater than the value t table. However, having a degree of relationship or correlation levels are low, this can be seen from the results of research in which the Spearman rank coefficient. This means that there is a relationship between exposure to the reality show stage dreams on work motivation but low correlation level. Keywords: SOR theory, work motivation, television, Reality Show
